'When you can tell your story and it doesn't make you cry, you know you are healing.'

When my sister, Laura, told people that she was talking her sister to Disneyland Paris, they expected me to be an eight year old. I didn't know whether to be offended or to laugh at the fact that two young adults were going to explore Disney.

I have to say, it was so much damn fun. Yeah, there are so many youngsters running around that it made me feel old, but who gives a crap?! I'm old, I love rides, I was in a magical place, who can complain? We went to Disneyland Paris as a family when I was very young so going back brought back a lot of memories and happy times. But, I have to say, no matter how old you are when you go you can still have such an incredible time. We had so much fun, we got to do everything possible there, experience all the rides as many times as we like (God bless Rock 'n' Roller Coaster) and just have a decent break away.

Spending that time with my sister was exactly what I needed. Looking back at our little holiday, I just just remember feeling so incredibly lucky and laughing until my cheeks hurt. It was perfect and I would go back in an instant. Disneyland is a magical place, but it was magical for me because I had the chance to spend time away from reality and have some much needed fun. Can I go back now?
