VALENTINES DAY '15.

This was our fourth Valentines Day together, but this is only the second one we have spent together that hasn't involved a hospital, and boy, was it magical. I was always one of those 'Valentines Day, Shm'alentines Day' kinda people, because it's just another day to me. But, I have to say, Jacob seems to make these days perfect.

He seems to think I deserve the best things in life, which baffles me, but love does make you crazy so they say. Although, we did say we were not going to get each other gifts this year, Jacob felt the need to. I tried to understand why he felt he had to, but he said he didn't have to, he wanted to. This man melts my heart, the soppy git.

It's one thing to have him out of hospital, but to have somebody you love so much, love you back, is the greatest gift. There was so much thought behind everything, so I guess this is the right time to explain the card, which you would have already seen if you follow me on Instagram.

As soon I opened the envelope, I just giggled. When Jacob was in hospital, we would call each other every night, to catch up and make sure one another was safe and sane. So when he would call, and I answered the phone, he would sing this down the phone, just to make me smile. To know he remembered this, is what made me initially smile.

I had been looking for a new camera to invest in for the year. I am wanting to take photographs of memories, create a scrapbook of the amazing times we have and to simply improve the quality of content I create. So Jacob gifted us this incredible little beauty. I have previously been working with a Canon 550d, but I wanted to try out a smaller compact little number. This camera is the perfect size, comes with a basic beginners lens, easy to function, point and shoot, and also a flip out screen perfect for vlogging and selfies, yes, I just said selfies, we're all guilty.

This man is like no other. He has been through some intense and tough times, yet when it comes to what he cares about most, it's others. He is selfless, caring and a huge inspiration to me. If you know 'our story', you will know exactly what I mean when I say that this man deserves only the best. What can I say, I am also a soppy git and I love this man.

I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day with the people you love, whether it's a girl, boy, mother or hamster. I hope it was safe and full of joy. Remember, I love you too.
